my Why

Erin Treacy overlooking Harpers Ferry, WV.

I grew up in southern West Virginia, the granddaughter and daughter of a family business.

From an early age, I saw leadership in action — not in boardrooms, but in the way people treated each other. Relationships always came first. Before any deal or decision, there was connection.

My family knew the names of children, asked about milestones, and understood what motivated each person.

What stood out to me was their ability to truly see people. They knew everyone had unique strengths, challenges, and needs. A belief leadership begins with understanding the person in front of you. This has shaped my entire career and is the foundation of my coaching.

about Me

I'm Erin Treacy, a leadership and culture coach.

I help leaders and teams strengthen confidence, communication, and connection. My coaching style is approachable and direct, rooted in empathy and strategy. Clients often say I bring clarity to complex situations and remind them growth should feel human, not forced.

I carry with me a belief that's been with me since childhood: “To make the best better.” It was the motto at my elementary school, and it still drives me today. As a former competitive skier, I learned practice doesn't make perfect — effort does. A coach once told me, “Practice only makes perfect if you practice perfectly.” While none of us are perfect, we can always make the effort. This mindset carries into my coaching: leadership is not about flawless execution but about showing up, trying, and growing through the effort.

my Background

With nearly three decades of experience, I have worked across industries including hospitality, marketing, and communications. My work has always focused on helping people and businesses align personal growth with organizational success. Building emotional intelligence, improving communication, and creating cultures where people feel valued and motivated to perform at their best.

I have seen firsthand how costly poor communication can be in both dollars and people. According to Gallup, businesses with low engagement lose 18% of productivity. I believe those losses can be prevented when leaders focus on people first.

Outside of coaching, I find inspiration in nature. Being outdoors clears my mind and reminds me of the power of slowing down, something I encourage my clients to create in their own leadership practices.
